    Hi,

I am just having trouble figuring out how to map the touchpad with buttons,(in the instructions it shows how to put buttons in the corners of the touchpad. I just cant get into the control panel to do it?)
(i have the scrolling figured out, and etc.)
But I would like to put the right click option into the touchpad as well.

    Anyone done this yet?

    thnx

I have, but in linux, it was pretty easy to setup... I've no clue how it would work in windows though :)

    ennoia,

    1. What are the steps to configure the Synaptic touchpad in Linux?

    2. Do you have the modem functining in Linux. If yes, what driver did you use?

Works perfectly with the synaptics drivers...

on gentoo i did "emerge synaptics" , depending on your distro this will be a bit different, or you might have to download them and install them yourself.

After that you just need to mess with your xorg (or Xfree86 if you still use it) config file to set the driver up the way you want

You can use mine if you want, it works well but be warned I have it set ultra-sensative :) you can tweak it though... My xorg.conf is on the site here: http://lm50.jerrett.net

and the synaptics drivers are available here: http://w1.894.telia.com/~u89404340/touchpad/
