    Hi everybody,
I have a weird problem with my lg 5mhit's battery. The notebook is almost 3 years old, but i have started to use its battery just a few weeks ago (i used it a couple of times before though, and i always leave the battery fully charged when i am not using it for long periods). Last night i changed the battery charge stop percentage from "standard" to "maximum" in the bios to make the battery last longer during day. In the next morning I was using the laptop on battery and everything was ok until ~80% charge. Then suddenly the laptop switched off and after that every time i try to boot it, power goes off even before the bios screen comes up. I also checked if the same problem exists with AC power on. It seems the problem is the battery, AC mode is ok. Anybody had a similar problem or know why this happened? By the way, I checked the battery condition on battery miser, it seems perfectly fine and i also fully recharged the battery without a problem but the laptop still keeps powering off in 2 seconds when i try to boot it up on battery.
