    Hi,

I have an LG LW60 and everytime I log in or restart the LG Intelligent Update window will pop up telling me I need to install an update of the TI FlashMedia Driver, version 2.0.0.6, even though I already installed it the first time it downloaded. I have tried deleting temporary files as per another thread here but that didn't work. I've checked device manager and the LG Australia website but nothing seems to come up. I don't want to uninstall or disable Intelligent Update in case other updates a required in the future.

    Any help please!

Since the LG Intelligent Update keeps on popping up even though you don't want it, you can remove it from startup, this does not remove the program is just stops it from appearing when you start up your computer.

Press Start, run, (or Windows + R), then type msconfig, then click startup, then find the exe for LG intelligent update, and remove the checkmark in it, and then restart your computer and see what happens. It should stop it from appearing.

I have the same problem - and it is bloody annoying! I don't think that turning off intelligent update is really going to help because this same TI flashmedia driver 2.0.0.6 will keep wanting to be installed whenever I do start up intelligent update. Any other ideas?

Uninstall the LG Intelligent update, People in the ASUS forum also have a program called Asus live Update, overall most people find it annoying and are either uninstalling it or removing it from startup.

If your also wondering were you can get update, you can also easily go to the LG website and update drivers there too, so there's nothing wrong with removing LG's Intelligent Update.

hey it's very easy to stop this lg update software ...if you go in settings of this software you will see there a option witch can turn off the automatic update and asking .....go in ,,option,, menu and ,,turn off automatic updates,, :) and then write to ,,run,, ,, msconfig,,...and then go to ,,startup,,and uncheck ,,autoupdate lg...something like this , and this is all....without to uninstall this program :)
