    i have LG S1 dual core 2.0 GHZ with 1 GB ram and 100 Hard disk with ATI
    x1600, windows XP

    when i upgrade to windows vista ultimate , i upgrade the memory to 1.5 GB by replacing one memory card from 512 kb to 1 GB so the total now is 1.5

    but i wounder why i have windows Score only 3.8 !!!!

    Processor = 4.7
    Memory = 4.5
    Graphics = 4.9
    Gaming graphics = 4.8
    Primary hard disk = 3.8

    is this normal score ? or should i upgrade my hard drive ? if i should upgrade my hard drive what type of hard disk you recommend ?
    ATA or SATA , 5400 rpm or 7500 rpm

    Thank you

    You shouldnt really trust that score. Your computer will do fine with the original hdd.

    That's the first time I've seen someone wanting to get LG's flagship model "upgraded". Totally unnecessary.

    P.S. Lunatek, I still have yet to find a time during which your forum status is OFFLINE: are you ALWAYS online? That's pretty amazing.

    I just slept and got up and you're still here. That's much more than 12 hours a day. I think that may be 24 hours a day. Since you're here, mind telling me how to contact LG Canada's service? I called their phone number 1-888-LGCANADA but nobody answered. Is it because it's a Saturday? If you won't mind, go see if you can contact them FOR me :) and ask a question for me: can they confirm that the CANADIAN R500 model has GDDR3? hehehe

    I have Vista Enterprice with the same NoteBook (original spec 1GB RAM), my score is the same as yours beside:
    Gaming graphics = 4.9
    Primary hard disk = 4.4

    so my score is 4.4.
    I'm looking to upgrade my RAM but it's just because I need to...

    Vista works fine with the Original Spec...
