    hello everybody, [8D]
I would like to know, how long are your LG notebooks running on battery...? [ :)]

in my LG LS50 the battery can stay up to only 2-3 hours [ :(], while specs says "over 5 hrs, up to 6 hrs" (on 6-cell battery).

so I do not know, if my battery-miser settings are not correct, or battery is out of order, or what? or it is standard? [?] of course, my battery mode settings are all max-battery life... and all I can get is 2 hrs 50 mins max [ :(!]

my proc is intel celleron M 360 (dothan 1.4 GHz)

Battery life depends on multiple factors mxw.
Screen brightness, performance settings, processor usage/load, programs loaded etc.

When you say 2hrs 50 min, that's not a good figure for centrino technology, because on the LP60 which is a penitum IV-M, I get 165 minutes of battery life, with normal browsing on wireless, no sound playing, and screen on level 2 brightness.

    LG - LP60
    Mobile Intel Pentium4 3.06 - HT
    1Gb Ram

Depending what I am doing with it and how bright I set the screen to, my battery life varies from 5 to 8 hours... on the 9 cell, with the LM50 1.7ghz dothan

on the high "8 hours" end of things, that's lowest screen brightness and not using the laptop for anything really intensive.. so realisitcly it's usally 5-7, when I'm doing work and have the screen at a reasonable level.

perhaps the celeron is not as good on battery? I'm not sure...

This seems odd the normal student gets 5-7 hours of use on the ls50 series. The battery has a 1 year warranty I would suggest contacting the company you got it from and see if you can try another battery. I get 3.5 hours on my tablet LT-20 so you should see alot more than that. Contact me if you need service numbers. Or go here http://www.tabletpc.name/service.htm
