    Hello there,

I have bought LW70 Express laptop from a cpl of months, I wonder where can I upgrade my graphic card (x600 ATI mobility Raodeon) to X800? or if i can buy the graphic card alone online somewhere?

My other question is about my monitor, some juicy liquid have been thrown on it and there are some white dots appearing inside the LCD, I wonder if this can be fixed or should I change the whole monitor?

The juice have fallen inside the keyboard too and its unuseable

Highly unlikely you can swap the graphics card. If there is something wrong with the LCD you are going to have to replace it.

LG would have to come out with a replacement GPU which would fit. They are unlikely to do this.

zazonz is right (as usual). In theory, PCI-Express cards ARE upgradable... but there's no real 'standard' in the way they're put into these notebooks like there is for desktop motherboards.
Every notebooks (or most) have different slots/sockets... even though they're still "PCI-Express". This means that each video card on a laptop is basically proprietary.. with the exception of some very high end models.

So, unless LG makes a replacement GPU card for your notebook, it would be unlikely that you will be able to upgrade.

You spilled juice inside too? The story gets worse by the second. So does it still power on and run? You can move the mouse pointer and all that? No drinking and computing for you. :p
Also, I doubt they make a more advance GPU that will fit into your system.
