    hi,

    I am looking for a good business notebook.....something equivalent to IBM's T42/43 or Dell's Latitude D610.
14.1 inch with at least sxga+ resolution, great battery life, extremely well built, great keyboard feel, light and thin.
My guess is that one of LG's product line should have all these..just not sure which one...
can you guys help? I was about to buy T42 or D610 but why not try LG though I live in US.
    thanks in advance!

the LM50 and LM70 all fit your criterea.. high res (1400x1050), good battery life (esp. with the 9 cell), quality build, nice keyboard, and they are very thin and light

i believe there is a 14" model as well, but I'm not sure on the details

I have a LM70 Express notebook. I have had it for about 3-4 weeks and this notebook rocks. I use it for business and also playing games such as Battlefield 2 (runs great).

    Any questions let me know.

I can even run doom 3 on my 9700, I thought the X600 would run faster than the 9700 cos its on the PCI-E where as the 9700 is on AGP.

But back to the main topic, i find that the LG is outstanding as a business notebook, Long battery life and the power at your finger tips. Highly Recommended.

out of curiosity, do you get heat problems with your lm70 when playing games?

the review on the site listed a major problem of the lm70 as super heating of the laptop when "pushed hard" by gaming...

I dont know about the heat issue because i can play Battlefield 2 for several hours without any issues so im not sure whats going on there. The fan does come on to dissapate the heat effectively though. This notebook does work great for both business and play. The battery life with all the specs turn to max battery life can run to 4h 30min on my standard 6 Cell battery.

    My specs are

    LM70 Express 1.86Ghz / 1GB DDR2 RAM / 80GB SATA / Etc.

    Hope this helps you all.
