i think its related to battery miser but everytime i use my LW40 with the battery only, i cannot adjust my screen to the brightest setting. i could technically set it at 100% brightness but the levels do not move up.

i go into battery miser to turn off the auto screen adjust but it still won't let me make my screen brighter.

does anyone know what might be the problem?

I'm not familiar with that app. If you remove it does the control work as expected?

i tried uninstalling the battery miser software and its still not letting me adjust the screen any brighter.

basically, the green indicators on the screen would increase but the screen itself won't get any brighter after the 3rd to last indicator. :(
