Hi, I'm thinking of getting the 1.7 GHz LW70 (seems like a great machine), but looking at various threads here and there, I'm beginning to have concerns about:

    - High variance of battery life
    - Availability of after sales service
    - The burner being able to do DL (which is in the specs on the website, but this is due to an earlier thread on this forum)

Are these concerns justified? (Take to PM if necessary)

And where can I buy a spare battery for this thing?

    Hi

    read my post here:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=38314

i have a LW70 and i really like it... its fast, but the battery is ok, graphics card is amazing and it has an international warranty...

but i hear(from people who have LG laptops)that their support is not that great... may its true... but the think is i haven't had any problems to complain about so i wouldn't know about this

    cheers
