Is there any other place to purchase an LG T1 in the US other than MilestonePC? I'm smitten with the looks/form factor/battery life but the price is still rather high for a year old lappy. It's hard to find a used one for sale anywhere either (I found one in Canada, but he would only accept local buyers). :(

I went through a reseller in Canada; LG had a few refurbished T1s but I had to buy 4 to get them! (they wouldn't sell just one) And there's only a 1 year warranty but at least they were a bit cheaper ($1600). I have the feeling the reseller put just a wee bit of 'trouble-tax' in there (e.g. jack up the price for the trouble) but not as though I had options. IMO the R200 is a better deal as it has a 3d accelerator. BUT it's only 12.1". The T1 is the only game in town for light 14.1" machines it seems.

There was one left of the older, slower config; I grabbed all the 7002A9's. There're no new ones left, trust me. I scoured the earth and was lucky to come up with these.

The T1-7002F9 is the french version; there're a few in the channel supposedly but no more will be coming from LG. That's the only SKU that isn't discontinued at present. The rest are gone and none are in the channel.

I'm keeping one, my father is keeping one, the other two I am seeing if anyone in the family wants. If not I'll probably list 'em on Ebay. Having noticed that T1 batteries are impossible to find on the forum I ordered 1 extra each per laptop.

They're selling for around 1100 CAD now from the looks of it on craigslist and kijiji. I'm pretty sure you can bargain some people down and setup a way for you to purchase from them like a quick ebay transaction or something.

I emailed that guy and there was no response....so maybe an LG T1 in hand is better than one in the bush. =P
