    Hi,

I have 2,500 US for a new laptop, I have to spend it all. So not less than 2500 and maybe around $3,000.

Since I have my nice LG laptop, I dont know what to get :p

Powerful for games : Alienware m15x with GeForce 8800M GTX

Portable : Macbook Air or new dell m1330

    Nice : Macbook pro 15.4"

or the new Dell M1530 with all specs at maximun

So the question: What would you buy?

    Thanks :D

depends on you needs really... i pick the macbook pro, coz that argueably got the nicest screen here, probably best material/build quality here (probably not trouble free though)...

perhaps you should fill out a FAQS?

hang on, why is this in LG section? shouldn't this be in the "what to buy" section?

Mmm maybe yes, it should be in "what to buy" section, but I think that here, ill find ppl with the same taste :p
Thanks for you opinion! I don't know if macbook pro gets hot with the new Santa Rosa platform as he used to do.

Actually I'm not very sure in what I need. I know it souds weird
I'll travel a lot but I would also love to play during holydays or something like that

The MacBook pro is lighter than the XPS and Alienware, and the MacBook Air is a toy for business people. I don't see why you are looking for something between the heaviest 15.4" laptop with ultra-GPU and the lightest with none, but the MBP is right in between with good balance of all features: weight, gpu, speed, very nice screen.

Or, you can get a new SSD drive and make your S1 seem blazing fast. =) Then you'll stay with the nicest looking laptop of the bunch. xD

bo3adsa : I'm happy w/ my S1 :D but I have to buy a new one coz I have to spend that money.

amuraivel : I know that the options are kinda crazy :p as u said, the lightest notebook and the heaviest 15.4. But those are the ones i like ^^
I was thinking that... Maybe I can use my S1 as mainstream and the ligthest for travel/work stuff.

Byakko : I have to use at least 2500 USD, W/ that I could buy the dell 1330 w/ SSD.

    So I'm still wondering...

    Thanks for your comments :)
