I finally ordered a new laptop, and after initially planning on getting an ASUS W3J, I somehow ended up falling completely in love with the LG S1 and ordering one from Milestone (to the unbridled joy of American Express I'm sure). I'm currently sitting here giddy with joy over the impending arrival of my machine, and will post pics/benchmarks when it gets here.

Exactly the same case as me.
I wanted the W3J so bad but then I saw the S1 :D
I'm still waiting for it, it'll take around 3-4 more :)
By the way, what model did you order?

    bye.

Yeah, I figured in for a penny in for a pound... Plus I really wanted WSXGA+, I have SXGA+ now, and can't think of going back to something less...

I see... I have never use WSXGA+ but I'm a programmer so i think that more space will be very very usefull, because I will not have to scroll and scroll down/up.

Ive got the same one. First time on WSXGA+ as well. I dont find it a problem at all to adapt to the smaller screen size (fonts and icons). I feel it actually looks a lot more uncluttered  :)
