I was looking at some LG laptops at the store today and noticed one of them had a 'Vista compatible' sticker on it. Would I be right in assuming all the Core Duo laptops are vista compatible? Or are only some?

I was going to order the S1 p3b3a soon, but now I'm worried that it won't work with Vista..

beware of the Vista Compatible sticker...

it can be put on anything that meets the absolute minimum requirments of Vista Standard...which doesn't include the new Aero stuff and many of the features of the new operating system.

so in other words it may be compatible, but you will need to look into it a bit further to ensure you get what you're after.

Vista will likely run on most computer purchased recently.

i own an S1P3B3A and have installed the latest leaked Vista, and on default specs of the notebook it runs fine, and with Aero Glass enabled... So i can safely say that its Vista ready.

yeah fine, its nowhere near as fast as xp, due to beta debugging processes running now, but its smooth. I honestly wouldnt use it as main OS, but when RTM hits, definately
