I just installed ubuntu 6.06 on my s1 from the ubuntu live cd. After rebooting I don't see the option to load vista anymore and only see some grub menu to start ubuntu. After this I tried to use my recovery discs to reload vista. The screen first says "Loading Windows files...." and then a loading screen of microsoft corp comes after which a black screen with only the mouse pointer on display remains.Any clues as to how to get back vista?

I guess u wipeout vista when u were installing ubuntu... that happens when u din partition the drive right. Happened to me once. I work with XP so i m not sure if this would work.

    The dumb way:
1)Reinstall vista, partion anything that u need, leave the rest unpartition
2)Install Ubuntu but be careful when u select the partition stuff, i cant explain it clearly but experiment with it, u ll get it after a few tries.
