    Upgrading HDD on LG P100/X100?

    Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade the HDD on the LG P100 or X100? I know the RAM is upgradable, but the HDD seems to be located in a harder to reach area that requires further disassembly - something no reviewer seems to have done yet.

    Have you check your notebooks manual? It should state so


    Also yes i wont check but i dont see why you could upgrade it you can upgrade the HDD on anything now even netbooks.

    The notebook manual doesn't state anything of the sort. Having looked at reviews for the laptops, it seems that somewhat substantial disassembly is required to get at the HDD. I certainly hope that the HDD is upgradable, but there have been cases of some laptops actually having the HDD soldered to place...

    hmmm soldered? I thought they stopped that years ago

    Have you considered an external usb hardrive?
