    Somebody made upgrade for merom? I have a LG old S1

    Mau I ask, which processor you have currently. If you have a Core Duo, then it still may be possible. A BIOS update will mostl likely be required, as it will add the support for the Core 2 Duo (Merom) processor. Its likely thay LG would have released the update, so the upgrade might well be possible.

    It should be compatible, seeing as though it has an Intel 945 chipset, and since it is sold with the newer processor. You may need to update the BIOs, otherwise the processor may not be recognised or the computer may not boot, so that needs to be done before the upgrade of the processor. MAke sure that the new BIOS supports the Core 2 Duo/Merom processor.
