USB mouse w. fast user switching

Hi all,

I have an LW70, me and the wife use XP's fast user switching between our users. I have a USB MS IntelliMouse Optical.
The problem is that each time one of us fast-switches to his/hers 'side' the action disables the external mouse function. the red light remains but the mouse will not respond. this happens on every single user switch.
disconnecting and reconnecting the mouse solves the problem but i dont want this solution.
has anyone experienced this fenomenon and knows how to fix it?

what, am i the only one experiancing this problem? let me try this then; is there anybody here whos using an LG notebook (I have the LW70) and using an external intellimouse optical via USB (driver 5.5) and having more then one user on the machine and using fast user switching.
and NOT having problems like the one I have. maybe this will indicate that the problem is with the mouse itself...

i have lm50 and never face to this problem ,check with ohter mosue.
i see one time in PC this probelm too.
