Do LG notebooks come with a relatively small amount of bloatware? Do they boat fast?

Do LG notebooks come with an external DVD drive if they don't have one on the machine?

I completely forgot about LG, but I might forget about them again considering their Canadian offerings might not match my needs. I hate buying electronics in Canada.

I have an LG E300, lets just say it runs Vista with no problems.

It comes with very little bloatware. Battery miser, Hotkey controls, driver/program updater.
The only big program that is installed is Microsoft Office 2007 Trial.

The best thing about it is that it does not come with Norton or any "antivirus" installed.

My DVD drive is removable, so no help there.

Thats a good start, thanks Iterator.

I know the old P300 came with an external DVD drive, as it did not have one of its own. But I'm more interested in some of their other offerings with and without dvd drives.
