Hey guys.. I recently purchased a Targus port replicator model# ACP45CA for my LG R1 Pro Express Dual notebook. The port replicator works fine except if I have it plugged in when I try to boot up. It freezes at the initial LG screen...( F1 does nothing, it freezes.. pressing keys does not do anything) To go around this I have to keep the port replicator unplugged until the notebook gets passed this initial booting stage and then plug it in in which case it works fine...

    any ideas?
    anyone experienced problems like this?

    Thanks,
    Raf

What's plugged into the replicator? You may want to adjust your boot order in the BIOS.

just a lan cable, usb mouse, and usb printer

thanks for the reply .. I'll have a look in the bios for anything that could be causing this.

Could be a network issue. Try it without various devices--slowly adding things until you find the culprit. Unless the replicator itself is causing the problems, although I can't see why that would be the case.

Sorry to get sidetracked, but how many ports are there on the port replicator? And of what types?
