Hi, i've recently bought a LG notebook model r405 a few days ago. for the first two days, the touchpad seems to be perfectly fine. But after i installed a usb mouse i couldn't use the touchpad at all. I could use the right click and left click but not the scrolling. I'm not sure if it's making sense. I hope someone could help me out before i approached the manufacturer. Hopefully, it'll be a detailed guide as i'm really a noob at such tech stuffs. geez.. =X

Did you install any drivers for the USB mouse? I've seen this happen sometimes with the intellimouse software, it sometimes wants to override your touchpad driver. Just reinstall the touchpad driver and see if that lets you use your touchpad again.

make sure the touchpad isn't disabled by a software switch... for exmple, 'fn+f9' disabled the touchpad on my Satellite M45. Mabye the LG r405 has something similar?
