    hi everyone,

This is my first post and I just bought T1-7001A9!
It looks and feels amazing but I have have one huge problem with it.

Do any of you noticed that it's really slow when it's powering on and off??

I compared the start up time and powering off time with 2 of my friend's notebook. One has a 1.73 centrino cpu with 512mb ram and the T1 is so much slower when both notebooks powered on together. It's at least 15 seconds slower for the T1 to load everything once it's turned on compare to an older and slower laptop. Anyone have this problem?

i'd suspect it's the slow 4200rpm hd. Most are at 5400-7200 nowadays. I never got why LG did that.

    Hi,

please excuse my bad English but I´m not used to speak it.

The long boot up time with the T1 is certainly due to the 4200 rpm. My elder Fsc Amilo boots up much faster than my T1, so I guess it´s normal!

    Hope I helped you!

    Bye, Alain
