It's in danish, but there are benchmarks and some pics that might be useful. In their test of the processor they found it to be as fast as a AMD 3800+ X2. I wont translate it all - I'd rather come up with a review of my own T1 which I will recieve this afternoon :D :D I'll probaly have the review ready in a week or 2...

BTW: Here's a video with Aero Glass on the GMA950 integrated Graphics featured in the T1. Seems just fine :) http://youtube.com/watch?v=aTdTdTELZj4

Thank you! Lots of good info in there.

They think the GMA950 is the big weakness of the machine.. I'm not planning on gaming with my next laptop, so I think it's actually more than good enough. For me, it just has to be able to handle various 3D desktop apps and of course XGL. Nah, I'm more worried about the HDD and TPM.

Maybe you can help me out later, since you're getting a T1. I have a thread with some questions... That review answered my fears about the HDD being a bottle neck, but maybe you can answer the rest of them :)

Please post a review when you get your T1 ... I'm especially interested in how loud/quiet it is, and how hot it gets ... thanks!! :)

emmze: I've only used it for a few days, but I can tell you: This is a cool and quiet baby- if that's your criteria for buying, then this one is for you!

It would have rocked with a dedicated GPU, like the W3J but it looks nice for sure.

abay84: What battery time are you getting if you are stretching it?

The S1 is pretty much exactly like the T1 except it has slightly larger screen and x1600

Hi guys, it's cool you have it in Denmark! How much does it cost there? We still don't have it in Germany but a cheap flight to Copenhagen is always a fun!

    Waiting for your review!
How the optical drive is connected with the laptop,
and does the extended battery have a hot plugin option?

    Mange tak. :)

    Oh, they only charge you $2331 . . .

You would have to be severely drunk to buy at that price . . .

The T1 is available from around $2230 in Sweden.
If you're in the US, that does seem like a lot, but we always get screwed over here. Example: In the US, the cheaper Macbook Pro goes for $2000. In Sweden they charge $2790 for the same exact machine. So in relation to that, the T1 is actually pretty reasonably priced.

So, I will get drunk in Copenhagen and buy the lappy. It will be a double pleasure to me. :D By the way, how much of Dannish VAT is in the price? I might be able to return it.

Danish VAT is 25 % (i.e. 20% of the price)...

I'm sorry, but I seriously havent had the time to make a comprehensive review, and I don't know if it will come up at all. But I can add to emzee's review that bluetooth works like a charm :) I've had my concerns about the the "toughness" of the notebook. It IS plastic and not among the most solid constructed notebooks out there. But again, it's a compromise you'll have to make if you want a notebook that is 22 mm (0.8 inch) thick and a weight below 2 kgs.
