    T1 Display (compared p1) and Battery Questions

    Hi,

    can anyone tell me how long the t1 runs with the 6cell battery? 7 hours sounds quite optimistic. ;)

    I also read that the P1s display is really dark. How is it compared to the t1s? The fact that the p1 uses a 15.4" display and the t1 a 14" should mean that it's a different display. I'm asking because I wanna use the t1 for dtp (photoshop etc.). Are there any dark spots on the display (in the upper right corner for example)?

    No "dark spots" on my T1 display. The display is not glaringly bright; I can compare it to my old ASUS Z70V 15.4" display (T1 is brighter) and my brother's Dell LCD monitor (the Dell is brighter).

    Re battery life ... well, you may get somewhat close to 7hrs with brightness turned all the way down, wireless off, etc. Realisticly, it seems to be closer to 5hrs with moderate brightness etc, though I haven't done any kind of systematic test.

    but i think the answer will be: Yes i do buy the t1. :D
