    hi everyone.
I have bought my S1 recently and speedfan isn't detecting the fans T___T
I am getting scared because I am using it to do a lot of homework as well as online voice chatting and it stays on for quite long (many hours a day).

I would like to turn up the fan speeds most of the time, speedfan dosen't work.. I checked the settings in the BIOS and the Fan status says On instead of Automatic, what else can be done?

    Anyone with luck with speedfan?

    Thanks for reading >_<

Have you tried the dedicated fan speed control button on the keyboard?

I think it was FN F10 or F9 - it has a fan image on the key.

You should not need Speedfan on an S1.

If it's the same as my T1, press F11 to toggle between different fan settings. (I think you have to be running the LG "On Screen Display" for the function keys to work?) I haven't tried Speedfan on my T1 so I dunno if it works here or not, if it doesn't work on the S1 I doubt it'd work here either.

Yes I have, if you are talking about the same one from on-screen display -> Hotkey Configuration.

It's also the same from the BIOS (I have set the fan to run at "Cool" mode for AC and DC )

The fan don't appear to be running at high speed unless when it gets very hot >_<

Thankyou for all the help appreciate very muchhh~~

Compared to Macbook and Macbook Pro temperatures, that of S1 is not even worth mentioning, so don't worry.
