Hello everyone! I've been reading a lot of info about the LG P1, but I still have some doubts. Can anyone help me?

    1) Is the brightness of the screen higher when you have the power adapter plugged in than when you only use the battery?

    2) Does anyone know the tech specs of the screen (viewing angles, brightness, contrast...)?

    3) Is there any sensor monitoring software included in the package?

    Thanks in advance ;)

    1. By default, yes, but it shouldn't be hard to set it yourself to whatever you want. I'm not sure if LG has this as their default, on A/C, its 100%, on battery, it usually is at 30%-40%. However, if you go on battery, then bump up the brightness to 100%, now, whether on battery or not, it'll always been 100% brightness, as it usually has a memory effect, so it when you go to battery, it goes back to the default last brightness used. Another example is to have brightness on 40% on AC, 100% on battery. Plug in the laptop, its at 40%, take plug out, brightness jumps to 100% on battery. It may be confusing at first but its simple :p

    2. Screen I don't know exactly, but along with Fujitsu, I believe LG has one of the brightness screens in the industry, they make it at 300-350 nits compared to the industry standard 250 nits. I've seen the screen, the viewing angles aren't bad, its a typical viewing angle.

    3. Not sure, but it has a fingerprint sensor, no logical reason why they wouldn't have it :)

Sorry for replying so late, but I've been rather busy. Coriolis, thank you for answering.

    1) I mean that, despite having the brightness set to 100% in both situations, in some notebooks the brightness level decreases when they only use the battery. But know I know that's not the case of the P1.

    2) The technical specifications of the screen are:
    · Viewing angles: Horizontal 60º, Vertical 45º.
    · Brightness: 300 nit
    · Contrast: it depends on the country where you buy the notebook (so strange)
I've seen the P1 in Spain and I can state that the contrast ratio is very good and the quality of the image is perfect. Nevertheless, the viewing are good but not excellent (some VAIOs and HPs are better).

    3) I mean a temperature sensor monitoring software :) And it seems that it doesn't include it. Of course, it includes a program for the fingerprint reader called Softex Omnipass.

Now that I've seen and tested the P1 I have decided to buy it. I consider it's a great option. I will try to make a review when I have it. Bye bye!
