This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    The stats are different between the two sites, although both use the same aussie blurb re: price/performance woes (USD $2950, very high for a 1.6GHz x1400 for sure.). I googled up some french and russian stuff that didn't seem much more helpful.

    Anyone know anything a little more definitive about this S1 Express model? Like when it's even coming out, what it's specs will be or how much it'll be? All I found on LG's site about it was the PDF spec sheet, which says it's 1.6Ghz w/ either x1400 or x1600 (which conflicts with asia.cnet.com's 2.0GHz spec). Bleh :p
