NCIX doesn't have them in stock but lists them here. It's the same battery for the T1. There're two aftermarket batteries on sale on Ebay at present. NCIX claims the batteries are orderable but just not kept in stock.

Can someone post a photo of the S1 battery and the model number/markings? I'd like to confirm it's the same as the T1. I can get LG T1 batteries and was *told* they're the same but want to make sure before I represent something that I don't know about personally.

Have you found any T1 batteries yet? I'm still looking into buying a t1 and it'll be nice knowing I can buy the batteries too. =)

You have to order them but they are available. No one stocks them at present that I know of, at least not the OEM ones. I've seen aftermarket batteries on Ebay but have no experience with them. They're MUCH cheaper though; the LG ones are $249!!!!!!!!!

What's wrong with buying aftermarket batteries?

Well I've at least been able to confirm that the T1 & S1 use the same batteries. As for aftermarket batteries; they're a total crap shoot.

Some are fine. Some don't last very long and some are total junk and can damage your computer. From a known reputable company I don't mind buying aftermarket batteries but off Ebay? It's worrisome enough that I wouldn't do it.

when I bought my LG T1, I got a second battery. I've been switching between them. I don't need the 2nd battery anymore. I'm willing to part with it.

    Any offers?
