Hi I got a WD 2.5'' Scorpio 250gb for my LG S1 P402A9, I was wondering if it's relatively easy to replace the old FUJITSU 100gb on it? Has anyone ever done this here?

If it's anything like the P1 you simply remove two screws, take off the bottom panel and swap out the drive. You may have to remove the 100gb from it's carrier and put the 250 in it but otherwise it isn't major disassembly. Here's a picture. The HDD 'slot' is just to the left of the RAM sockets.

just look under and you will find a cover that has HDD on it. unscrw the 2 scrws to remove the cover and you will see the hdd itself ...

    Hey guys,

Does work a HDD more than 100gb in LG S1?
I bought one of 120Gb but the BIOS didn't detect and the notebook entry in a 'boot loop' and don't load operational system and anything.

My solution was create an external case with my 120Gb HDD.

BTW, I need to disassembly the cover below keyboard to clean the cooler, how can I do it? It has a lot of dust on it.

    Thanks in advance.
