I have an LS50-8 in which the cooling fan has ceased to work I'm advised that this could cook the chip. I have removed all the 18 obvious screws plus 2 hidden ones and yet am still unable to remove the bottom plate to gain access to the fan. Can anyone advise if there is a trick to removal of the bottom or alternatively what particular fan model / number is used in this laptop?
