Hi, today I installed Atheros Ar5008 wireless (sick of intel's 4965) and now i have two small problems:

    1. I have no blue-ligt LED at the back working (drivers from Azurewave R310 model wireless which is BTW Atheros ;)) - i connected antennas as -1 numbers IE - at intel i had ports 1 2 3, here - 0 1 2, so i connected 1 to 0, 2 to 1 and 3 to 2 ;)

    any ideas?

    2. I can't turn off wireless via Fn+F6 :)
Anyone studied how it realy works?

I don't think Fn+F6 has anything to do with the driver.

As for the LED, my computer's wireless LED has different behaviours depending on what drivers are installed, so I believe that maybe able to be fixed with different drivers.

    So, how to re-enable/fix Fn-F6?

Well, mine too has different, and sometimes i even was able to make i work - i installed CommView (wireless sniffer) and it's driver - and LED began to blink, is there a way for ours to turn on/off the LED?

I'm looking for a driver which stops the LED from blinking. It's annoying. I stuck a sticker over mine. If I use a USB Wireless card, the LED doesn't blink. So it's got to be something with the driver for the Intel card...

There is no AFAIK to stop it from blinking, it's in drivers...
