    Hey guys ;)
I'm thinking of getting the R405 cause of it small weight and being kinda cheap, compared to a HP DV2700 with same warranty period.

I actually favor the HP because of it's design and little extras, and it coming from a more expirenced laptop manufacturer. but it cost a whole lot more here (about 200$ for similar setup) and weights about 150g more as well, so the value of LG is much better.
But I can't find any normal review of this model, so I'm here to hear what the users can tell me about this model, hope you guys can help.. ;)
(or point me to a review if such is out there..)

The spec will be like this:
    T2390(1.86GHz) 533MHz FSB ,1MB L2 cache
    2GB DDR2 667MHz, Dual Channel
    ATI Xpress 1250
    DVD Super-Multi writer
    250GB SATA 5400 RPM
    802.11b/g WLAN , Bluetooth(BlueCore™4)
    14.1" WXGA (1280X800)

What is the expected battery usage from this setup?
How hot does the laptop get? can you work with it in your lap for a long period?
Can you run 720P high definition movies on it?
Will it get disturbingly noisey at any point?

tnx for anyone that can help..

    Hi,

I've got the same specs as yours. But, I've got some overheating issues.

If I have too many programs running, like a browswer with multiple windows and some music playing and a chatting, then often my computer overheats and goes to sleep mode. I don't have the battery in, and run it off the plug. However, I think the fact that the ambient temps in my room is around 31 Celcius doesn't help. I'm going to be buying a cooler for my laptop soon.
