    Hi guys

    I m in the process of buying this laptop in canada for $850. i think is good deal but wondering if should wait for core 2 duo 2.00 ghz to be for the same price
    is it worthed waiting or it doesnt make a big difference
    please advise

    i have this laptop and a sony vaio too
    and the lg is far better..
    built quality and everything
    you can eventually change your processor for a penryn(i think its doable since t5450 is socket p and penryn too)

    ram is 2gb which is good
    video card is okay not among the best
    but if you are not hardcore gamer its perfect..
    sometimes i play counter strike with kaspersky doing computer scan at the same time
    and they runs perfectly

    one thing you should know
    BATTERY LIFE IS NOT 5HOURS
    it is 5hours if and only if you turn off everything and you dont touch the laptop it will eventually reach 5hours

    normally with everything(kaspersky, FF, bluetooth, etc.) turn on and wmp playing songs i get ~2h30min
    which is pretty good i think

    what else..?
    aah hdd is not 200gb its 185gb

    thats without including vista and utilities
    the good is it doesnt come bundle with those trials stuff

    i saw some 2.0ghz laptop but they came with intel graphics card and 1gb ram so yeah..

    also if you look under the laptop
    every part are marked
    like beside the hdd slot theres a HDD logo and so on..
    and unlike my vaio which needs me to open the laptop (which voids the warranty) the lg hdd screws seems to be like those ram's if you know what i mean..
