The Lg P310 is a great notebook. Yet, there is always room for improvement.
This is a thread made for mentioning any possible improvements that should be implemented in the next model (presumably the P320).
With the new Intel processors and nVidia/Ati graphics, there is bound to be a newer version coming out soon.

To start, here is what I would like to be implemented/changed:
High-quality Oled Matte Display (Lg has made some small Oled displays before. With a small 13" display, this should be possible).
    Option for 1400x900 resolution
Ati graphics (run cooler and more efficiently. New mobile versions received stellar reviews. 40Nm (use less space). Also cheaper).
Switchable graphics (saves battery life, reduces heat when doing basic tasks)
Option for Ssd (they are getting cheaper by the month! :) )
    Instant-On OS (for basic tasks)
Improved speakers (more bass and less-distorted sound)
    Backlit keyboard
    All Metal-design (NO plastic!)
Quiet and cool to the touch
Powerful compact battery (9-cell or 12-cell)
At least 4 hours of battery life (long battery life!)

Anyone else agree that the external optical drive is a good thing and microSD cards should be made a new standard as opposed to discs?

Other than that, this would make the P310 the best notebook ever!

P.S. Lg should start shipping these notebooks to the U.S. Or maybe not. That way, there will be something different and unique in the midst of all the Macbooks and Inspirons etc.

My number one request is that it is available in the US.
