    Hello friends,
I'd like to buy LG Xnote LS50-A46Y with Celeron M 1,5. I'm rather beginner about Notebooks (but not PCs :) and very, very interesting in Yours opinion aboute this machine and LG notebooks.
I'd like also to know how works Linux on LG notebooks.

    Thank You for any opinion.

    Best regards - Marcin

I got an LG LS50-6 for school just recently and heres my reveiw... [ :D]

The whole thing works without flaw and one of the greatest things about this is the REALLY clear display on screen and the keyboard is so easy to get used to im back to typing at 60wpm on this now...

The only downfall i think to this laptop is that is gets rather hot like a stated on my other thread, but when kept on a flat hard surface with the legs lifting it off the bottom it still gets hot but not even half of that when say its on your lap...

I would strongly suggest this laptop to anyone seeing as its got great specs ie.512DDR, 80GB HDD, 64MB dedicated radeon 9600 etc... and seeing as these go for such low a price, i found this one at david jones for $2200 over 2 years intrest free and alot of extras thrown in such as a mouse, bag, ethernet cable etc...

    Hello Pupp3t,
thanks a lot for you opinion. You say, that the laptpop is rather hot when it works. Are there any problems with this, e.g. any restars? How long have you had this laptop? If this machine is hot, I wonder how it works in summer :)

And have you any experience with Linux and this laptop ?

    Thnx for any words.

    Best regards - Marcin
