    For Windows? That's set by the user...unless I'm missing something.

    I have tried to install 'Diskeeper' to take care of my hard disk and there apeared the problem. There is some protection, so you need admin rights. In safe mode there apeared administrator loggin, but it needs password! That's the problem. Please help if you know something!

    This is definitly the Windows Admin password.
    When you boot which login screen do you see?
    The Welcome Screen, where you click on the user's picture and type a password, or the box where you type in the user name and password?
    If its the welcome screen, then one of the users is the admin. Also they may have hidden the default user from being visible.
    If its the box, then you'll have to remeber the admin's id, and password.
    If you don't remeber the password, then I can help you reset the password. But as for id. You'll have to figure out which one it is.
