    Hello guys.
In a couple of months I will be attending an university, and hopefully I will have a suitable notebook with me. I used to be very interested in Dell XPS 1330, but due to complains about design imperfection and other things I have now been looking more at the LG P300. But, here is the question(s), since I am not really a gamer, is the P300 with the 8400 GS graphics card (8600 is to expensive I'm afraid) still a good choice?

Also, would the battery life be improved with the slower 8400 GS graphics card?

I will be using the computer mainly for some (not heavy) video encoding and programming, mainly C++ and Flash Actionscript.

Thank you for a great forum,
    /Ontrop.

8400GS will be perfectly fine. And yes battery life should be improved.

The 8400m gs will be more than enough for anything short of serious gaming so you'll be fine.

Thank you. I kinda guessed that that battery life would be greater, but does anyone have any real numbers? Would it be a minor difference or a large one?

    Many thanks,
