    Hey y'all,

We are going to do an interview with LG Product Manager. I would like to collect a bunch of good questions from the LG fans and notebook community here on NBR.

Similar articles will be written up for a few other companies I have contacts at, so universal questions are OK and will probably be reused in the future. I'll post in the relevant forums as things firm up.

I have some general questions from the Toshiba interview already, but I would like to get your input too.

Post your questions over the next few days and I'll select some (and give credit of course).

    Cheers!

    Perry

    hey that sounds awesome!

personally, I'd like to know more about the LG P300

will the P300 or some thing similar to it will be offered in the US any time soon. also will they be offering SSD hard drives on it?

lastly, i'd like to know what made LG decide to go ahead with the notebook because i think it's quite a gamble since it doesn't have a optical drive, yet has a 256mb GPU and newest penryn chip all while being 3.5lbs. i mean there is no such offering from the big players such as hp/compaq, dell, lenovo, etc.. and LG is really the first (& only!)

Will they make any updates on the T1 series in the future? Those were the best laptops I have ever seen.

They have great notebooks, but one thing I don't like is that there are no BIOS updates to find for any of their laptops. We have at home a 3 year old LW-20 and not once has the bios been updated, no way can LG build a perfect BIOS that will last the product lifespan, no other notebook producers can. But still bought a P300 and I hope they will start release BIOS updates since there seems to be a problem with the USB power, if I copy files to a USB harddrive and at the same time connects the external Optical drive, it shuts down instantly. That seems to need a BIOS update. We don't even have service centers here in Sweden that will upgrade the BIOS, I have to send it to Holland...
