    Hi,
Why do LG Notebook's Monitors don't have any drivers and appear as Default Monitor?

Monitors don't have drivers, Videocards have the drivers and most monitors appear as default because that is the only one. I have dual monitors, one laptop and one external and it changes to multiple monitors. At the end of the statement you should see Default Monitor on ATI Radeon Xpress (Just an example) the on portion is the video card and those are the drivers you would look for. You can also go into the device manager and click on Display Adapters and you should see your video card type there as well.
