I've Emailed. I've PMed. I've called... twice now I've gotten someone on the phone but haven't gotten a clear answer as to availability on the T1. Nor have I received confirmation that my PayPal payment and the order have been linked.

Apparently I botched the order process and didn't complete things on the website side so my paypal payment went 'into the ether'. I rectified that by placing another order as requested but as yet STILL have had no contact despite multiple Emails, multiple PMs. You'd think since September 5th someone would be available to at least answer an Email.

I can't even leave a voicemail message as their box is full. I know they read the forum... I know they've been online since I PMed. I'm deeply concerned as to why I haven't gotten a response. I'd prefer not to file a paypal claim but absent any contact at all I don't see any other course of action considering they can't or won't tell me if they can obtain the laptop.

EDIT: After searching, I found this over at the Asus forum. In short:

My sincere condolences to Danny and his family. At present, I would avoid ordering from MilestonePC as regular business operations are disrupted at present. I will go on record as stating that if they are unable to process orders they should not be accepting them at present and should indicate the disruption of service on their website. The lack of communication is understandable, requiring customers to dig through a forum to find the answer is not.

UPDATE: I filed a paypal claim. It was decided in my favor. NO MONEY was recovered. MilestonePC is sweeping their account BUT NOT responding to inquiries or Emails. I've filed a chargeback. Thank goodness for American Express! MORAL: NEVER pay cash.

After talking to him again, it looks like they've been frauded for $12000 by stolen CC's(An American bank lost some information a while back), so they're trying to solve it. All their bank accounts were frozen, and he's trying desperately to sort it out.

    I hope everything goes well.

How are you getting ahold of him???? I call, I write, etc. NOTHING. Having been patient in a similar circumstance and gotten burned before I am now sympathetic but do not hesitate to act to protect my own interests. At the end of the day, if being understanding costs me $1800 and I then can't order a notebook; that's a bit expensive for doing the right thing is it not? Being understanding is a two way street.

I actually live kinda close to his store, so when I pass by I sometimes go in and chat with the people there. I recently bought desktop parts from the store a few days ago, E6600, 8800GTS, etc. all that good stuff.

If I pass by again, I'll ask him whats up with that situation. When I was there I didn't stay long as he was on the phone and online at the same time, didn't want to bother him.
