I have a LW 65 Express, which I have upgraded to run vista. My issue, seperate to all the other issues people are having with this laptop and vista, is that if my system goes into 'sleep' mode, upon return, my screen turns to a whole bunch of lines, with the only way back to do a full shut down (holding power button for 5 secs.) and start up again. This has been most frustrating, but I have dealt with it to this point. I have now bought a program that flashes a black screen a couple of times before loading. This also sends the screen into its lines.
I have disabled and enabled my monitor driver, searched for an update, played with resolution, anything I could think of that would remotely be related.

    Any ideas?

ps. Going back to XP is not an option

What graphic card/Video card do you have and is it fully updated?

I had a similar problem in XP(see here for a image) with an old laptop and my solution was to find a third party graphic/video card drivers.

Also, does it happen in Hibernation mode?
