I am going to buy an LG laptop (with Pentium M).
Could anybody advice, which model to choose.
The problem is I want to install LINUX (Red Hat Fedora 4) but do
not know which model is compatible with linux.

    Thanks!

Most laptops will run linux, the problem is finding soundcard, wireless and ethernet drivers.

Im using a LW70 and do have the wireless working.
I havnt tried to get the sound and ethernet working yet.

Yeah.. the only things I haven't gotten working on my LM50 are:

    - the modem... I've heard people say it's tricky to get working, but i have never tried it

    - the multicard reader... I'm not sure the status, I've never really played much with this either due to lack of media.. anyone know if it works?

    - suspsend , the video doesn't wake up with current ATI drivers. ATI is aware of the issue and keeps saying they will fix it. I've read about ways to fix it, but not sure if any of them work - I haven't tried

everything else works, and I didn't have any difficulties getting it all setup. I have a webpage about it that got lost when i moved my server, I'll put it back up again and post the url
