    Hi,
The operating system that installed in the laptop is vista ultimate 32bit.
In one of the holes of the audio card I see a red laser light.
I know that this optical digital output signal.
    How I can disabled this?

    thanks,
    Daniel

You could try disabling the the output my going into the device manager. This is accessed by right-clicking on "Computer" and pressing "Manage." From there, under system tools, click device manager then "sound, video, game controllers." I hope this fixes your problem

I can only disabled the Realtek High Definition Audio.
I tried to disabled the Realtek High Definition Audio and does not appear me red light in the hole.
But if I am disabled this then all the audio card disabled.

    There are other ideas?

I had this problem back when I was using Vista, and if I'm not mistaking you need to go to the Realtek website and try to download the latest driver and hopefully it will fix this issue…

    hmmm....

The only thought coming to me is to use www.pcpitstop.com and scan your pc for hardware update. I'm pretty sure that the red light went off eventually after updating some stuff.

Because of this small annoying thing I left Vista and went back to XP … :(

Just open up Realtek manager, go to the Audio I/O tab, then click on the tool icon next to the DIGITAL label and uncheck SPDIF.

    That should switch it off.
