F.20 bios doesn't fix the battery error.

How many minutes are you getting on a full battery charge? I have a slightly older LG P1 Express that I recently replaced the battery for. I was getting about 35 minutes even though the battery indicator would start out at 1.5 hours and then quickly plummet.
The battery was just done and it had nothing to do with the software indicators. I spent $40.00 on a replacement and now I get @ 2 hours. As Jay_d said, the bios won't fix the battery.

Get some program that can show you the exact battery capacities that are being reported in windows, like RMClock.

Look at the designed capacity, it should be around 50-100 Whs (50000-100000 mWh)

If it is significantly higher (like in the 500 Wh/500000 mWh range or higher), than the F.20 BIOS should fix the battery error.
About installing it on 64 bits, only thing I can think of is to get a system that has 32bit windows on it, create a boot disk like BartPE or UBCD from it, then launch your laptop from the cd and run the BIOS update from there.

If the designed capacity is around the correct range, then look at your fully charged capacity, is it signficantly less than your designed capacity (Like it's only 1/4 of the designed capacity)? If it is, then the error stating the battery must be replaced is correct. Your battery has 75%+ wear, you really should replace it.

    Hi,
Seems as i forgot this thread.
My problem is a bug in bios with Windows 7 both Microsoft and LG says this "error" with replace battery should dissaper with F20 bios, but LG only supports 32bits system and bios update isnt possible in 64bits.

Spirre, if you have a 32bit windows disc (like windows xp or anything) lying around or can borrow one, you can create a 32 Bit Windows Boot Disc using BartPE or UBCD. You can then probably put the BIOS update on a USB stick or something, launch the 32 bit windows from the CD and then run the update from the USB stick.
