I find it excellent! The screen is 1680x1050 and is just brilliant.
The CPU in is 2.13GHz Dothan, it's equipped with 1024Mb of DDR2-533, ATI RM X600 and 80 GBt HD.
The only concern is the HD - it could been quicker. Otherwise it's great. I have wanted to by a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo M4438G, but it's going to be very late, so I didn’t want to wait!
    Still instaling more soft.

Could you please post some pics or maybe a review... I'm kind of interested in LW70s... however right now I think I'll be getting an LM70.

    Keep us updated!

if you want a faster HD, you should look into getting a SATA HD.. it should be fairly trivial to replace the hard drive (i think it just pops out of the bottom)

I thought the 4200rpm hd uses PATA interface.

You gotta be careful with some specifications of lg laptops; it says SATA but has a little asterix next to it which refers to only specific models and not all models of that range.

gotta get me a seagate momentus 100gb 5400rpm drive and shove that in instead of my 4200rpm 60gb :p

I'm happy with my lw60 though...sorta :p they just brought out a "new" one for upgraded specs and same price, just over a couple of months too :( damn u technology! damn you!!! :p
