    Hi,

Has anyone added a 1gb stick of memory to there lw60 or lw70?

If so how did it go and what did you use.

    Cheers

I´m not a memory expert. But my guess is that with the 7x0 series of intel processors you should use two identical memory sticks to get most out of your computer. If it uses DDR2 memory technology the processor access the memory in a Raid kind of way.

I got an extra 512 kingston module for my LS 70, not sure of the exact part#

    edit:
Here´s the link to the Swedish resaler, maybe the part number can help you...

    Good luck!

I put a 1GB DDR2 sodimm in my LE50 and it worked with no problems.

1.5GB total (512MB built in and can't be removed)

So I'm guessing that if this older model works with 1GB, the LW60 shouldn't have any problems.
