I have stopped using IP operator for my wireless as the in-built XP controls are faster with more connection options.

However if I now select the "Repair" option on wireless network option I get a BSD (blue screen of death). Is this the same for other users?

I've made a clean install and never used IP Operator. However i've used several times Repair Connection, and never, but ever got a BSoD.

Try make a clean install, and set the laptop the way U want. ;)

I did do a clean install but it is possible that something with IP Operator still lingers. Thanks for the tip
