    I went to many notebook store today and they said that the ls50 that have the specs
    1.5-1.6 centrino
    15" SXGA+
    60HD
    ATI 9200 32mb
    and so on.... are out of production [ :(]

    Now ls50 only have the specs of
    1.5-1.6
    15" XGA
    60HD
    integrated graphics[ :(]

    I don't have the budget to buy the new LS70 arr......[xx(]
    anyone know any place that have stock of ls50 in store in canada[ :)]

    Wow....that's a real shame that LG decided to discontinue the good ones! :( Guess I was lucky to get my LS50 when I did....apparently it was the last of that model in stock in Aus.

    Maybe the LM50 is now a possibility? Those specs sound pretty close to wha the LM50 had in it and with the new models around the LM50 should be a fair bit cheaper.

    now i might consider lm40. the Lm40 is just on budget of $2100 max CAD.
    Do anyone no if the lm40 is going to stop production?
    Also anyone no if the lm40 is magnesim alloy or plastic?

    The LM40 will be available for at least the 1st and 2nd quarter of this year. The LM40 is magnesium alloy on the top and carbon fibre on the bottom. It is the unit that I use personally.

    LG_Man I heard that the BIOS of the LM40 is built onto the HD therefore you can't upgrade the HD. Is that true?
    How is the unit in terms of performance and battery life (On normal use can u get like 5hrs)
    Finally do you know any good place to buy the unit?
