I have a LW60-JDPA notebook. Recently, while running on AC, I have been getting a message that says the battery is critically low and to switch to another power source. I bought a new battery for the notebook, but the problem has persisted. In fact, today my notebook abruptly shut down (like someone yanked out the power supply) with no prior warning although I was running on AC. In Power Meter, the battery was almost completely discharged - is there a way to have the notebook run solely on AC and not depend on the state of the battery? I use the notebook connected to AC power all the time anyway. I am a bit of a novice so any feedback or suggestions would be much appreciated.
