    Hey all,
Im looking to get a laptop and its down to an LG s1 or the hp dv9000t

I really really want to get the M002A9 model of the S1 but the cheapest i can find it for is $2,356.58 USD

should i just save up for a little while .. like 2 months

or save up less and get the P402A9 and upgrade RAM and possibly the HDD later?

or just go HP and get a loaded dv9000t for like $1750

what would u guys do... the LG-S1 is oh so pretty tho =[

    lol :p
Its up to you. The dv9000t is a 17 inch notebook compared to the S1. Im not sure about the video card (although i think it has a 7600). The P402A9 would be a better deal if you can upgrade the RAM and hard drive. They'll both give you similar performance and weight and size difference would be a deciding factor. Bigger screen and weight? or smaller screen and portiability.

Well, when i was searching for a new notebook, after my research, I narrowed my options in 4 models (Asus W3J, A8Jm, Area-51 5550 and LG s1), the LG was the most expensive one, but i loved the design and i had a good feedback about LG notebooks (even when they are not that known in America).
But finally I ordered (about 25 days ago ) the LG S1 M002A9, now that i have the notebook i think that this notebook really worth it, i love it.
I've tried a lot of games and they run at highest graphic options. (F.E.A.R., Ghost Recon 3, Prince of Persia the two thrones and Age of empires 3).

But now you have to decide what size do you really want. If you are going to carry it the whole day, etc.

    hope this helps a bit.
