    LG x300 ie8 problem

    The LG x300 I have with factory's image is windows 7 home premium.

    I have done a system recovery back to factory's default using the LG smart recovery(where you press F11 at boot and restore to original condition).

    But I have an issue with the internet explorer 8.

    When I started it up, there will be a window opening saying a program has corrupted my search provider and after clicking ok, will pop up another window to ask me to choose another default search provider.

    I have exhausted all options that I googled.

    May I ask does this problem exists in all LG x300?

    Actually I know this issue have been faced quite often, not only in LG but in other brands as well, but since LG have packed an defective recovery partition, is it ok to say LG must take ownership of this fault and either solve it by releasing a windows 7 home premium with sp1(built inside the hdd's recovery partition, I don't want to get another cd with sp1 and I have to install it myself)) or take this back?

    Also for those that have the newest LG x300, the windows 7 home premium is 1st generation or does it comes with the Service Pack 1?

    Hi there, i am buying a used LG X300 for USD$250 and i wish to know more about this netbook. Can you pm me the pros and cons of this netbook and if 1GB RAM is too little, as this is non-upgradable. Do u tink it's worth to pay that amount for this netbook which is almost 2 yrs old?

    Or if u know any ways to upgrade the RAM or HDD, kindly let me know.
